Ready to put your trading skills to the test? The 2026 ZXCM Samurai Trading Contest is a free demo trading challenge running from 17 August to 18 September 2026, giving traders the chance to compete for a share of a $150,000 prize pool.
How to Join
Getting started is simple:
- Register and log in to the ZXCM website.
- Open a Contest Demo Account.
- Check your email for the next steps.
- Start trading on MT5 when the contest begins.
Participation is free, and all ZXCM products are eligible for trading.
How to Compete
Trade with virtual funds and aim for the highest profit during the official contest period.
- Only trades placed on the designated contest account during the contest period will count.
- Rankings are based on the highest absolute profit achieved by the end of the contest.
- In the event of a tie, the trader who reaches the result first will rank higher.
- Each participant may have only one contest account.
- All results are subject to verification.
Prize Breakdown
The top 100 traders in the Samurai Trading Contest will receive:
- 1st Place: $10,000
- 2nd Place: $5,000
- 3rd Place: $3,000
- 4th Place: $1,000
- 5th Place: $500
- 6th–10th Place: $250 each
- 11th–100th Place: $50 each
The Samurai Trading Contest is the first of six themed contests in ZXCM’s 2026 Demo Contest Series. Across the full series, 600 winning traders will compete for more than $150,000 in total prizes.
Important Notes & Terms
- Participants must generally be 18 or older, eligible ZXCM clients, and hold a valid live account in good standing.
- Duplicate accounts, multiple entries, collusion, arbitrage, latency exploitation, fraudulent registration, and unauthorized bots or automated systems may result in disqualification.
- Prizes are initially awarded as non-withdrawable trading credit to the winner’s live ZXCM account.
- To convert the prize into withdrawable cash, winners must complete the required trading volume within 30 days.
- The volume target is calculated as Prize Value (USD) ÷ 10. For example, a $1,000 prize requires 100 lots of completed live trading.
- Demo results do not guarantee similar performance in live markets.
- Forex and CFD trading involves significant risk.
- ZXCM reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone, or cancel the contest when necessary.
