Consider the Pro account if you need your spreads to be as low as possible, and you want access to the broadest range of trading instruments. Just be aware that this type of account does require you to pay commissions on your trades.

Demo Account

You can get a demo account on Headway to practice trading with virtual funds. This is a good way to practice your methods and to explore the platform without risking real money.

In addition, Headway offers demo trading contests for a chance to win real money that you can use to fund your live trading account.

Like most other forex brokers, Headway offers some compelling promotions to attract new traders and reward returning traders. Below are details on the active promotions we see as of the time of this writing.

Bonus $111

This is a $111 bonus that you can get when you sign up for an account on Headway. You do not have to make a deposit to get this bonus. You just open your account, and the $111 in bonus funds will be instantly credited to your account.

Of course, there are some terms and conditions on this bonus. The bonus will be active during the 7 days after you open your account. If you claim the bonus, you cannot deposit or withdraw funds during the 7-day period. But you can trade with the bonus funds in your bonus account.

The bonus account is closed after 7 days. But if you managed to profit, you can withdraw your profits. Headway says, “The amount of lots to trade for withdrawal equals your bonus profit divided by 3. Afterwards, you can either withdraw your profit or transfer it to your trading account.”

That is a reasonable rollover requirement.

Cash Booster

Another exciting promotion offered by Headway is the Cash Booster bonus. This is Headway’s referral program. In order to receive cash bonuses through it, note that you not only need to be great at referring customers, but you also need to have high monthly net deposits. So, this is a bonus for investors with larger accounts.

• If you have a $25,000 net monthly deposit, and your clients traded 300 lots, you can receive a $500 cash bonus.
• If you have a $50,000 monthly net deposit, and your clients traded 500 lots, you can receive a $1,000 cash bonus.
• If you have a $100,000 monthly net deposit, and your clients traded 800 lots, you can receive a $3,000 cash bonus.

This is a unique program where Headway makes peoples’ dreams come true. Here is how it works:

1. Leave a comment on the Dreamway post on Headway’s FB page that describes your dream.
2. Share the post publicly on your FB page.
3. Headway chooses one comment per month (you can also only make one comment per month) to turn into a reality.

Details are pretty scarce, but it sounds like one of the most intriguing promotions we’ve seen from a forex broker.

Giftshop

At the Headway Giftshop, you can trade in lots for a currency called Crowns. These, in turn, can be exchanged for prizes.

The prizes in the Giftshop are mostly electronics, motorbikes, and Headway merchandise. But there is even a car.

What are the benefits of shopping at the Giftshop rather than withdrawing your money and purchasing the items directly from other sellers? We’re not sure. Perhaps they are discounted, or it could just be convenient. Either way, it is an interesting promotion.

Customer service on Headway is available through live chat on the website, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, WhatsApp, and LINE. If you prefer, you can also email them.

We tested out customer service to make sure that it was satisfactory by contacting the company through the live chat feature on the website.

We initially had to talk to a bot, but we were able to quickly get transferred to a human agent. That person answered all of our questions in detail. It did take them some time to do this, but they were patient and thorough, and made sure we got all the answers we needed.

Could customer support have been a little more rapid and direct? Yes, but we would certainly not call it “slow” either. And based on the agent we talked to, you can expect friendly service and transparent answers.
