November 2024 — Saxo Bank is pleased to announce the launch of its new loyalty program, designed to reward clients with points for every qualifying trade. As part of this initiative, traders will now have the opportunity to earn points that can lead to account upgrades, better pricing, and enhanced service levels, all while tracking their progress in real-time for complete transparency.

The more points clients earn, the better pricing, service, and support they will receive, unlocking higher account tiers that provide increasing benefits. Clients can earn points through trading activity, as well as other actions such as account funding and securities transfers.

How the Program Works

The loyalty program features a tiered structure, with three levels: Classic, Platinum, and VIP. Clients can move up the tiers by earning more points, which can be accumulated through various trading activities. Each tier offers its own unique set of advantages, including better pricing and access to exclusive services.

  • Classic: Features industry-leading entry prices and best-in-class digital service, with 24/5 technical and account support. Clients qualify for the Classic tier with 120,000 points or an initial funding of USD 200,000.
  • Platinum: Offers up to 30% lower prices, priority customer support, and additional premium features. Clients can qualify for the Platinum tier with 500,000 points or an initial funding of USD 1,000,000.
  • VIP: Provides Saxo’s best prices, priority service, direct access to SaxoStrat, and exclusive event invitations. The VIP tier requires clients to accumulate 500,000 points or make an initial deposit of USD 1,000,000.

Earn Points with Every Trade

Clients will earn reward points each time they place a qualifying trade, with different products and trade sizes earning varying amounts of points. Trading volume and asset classes directly impact how many points clients can earn, rewarding active traders with greater benefits. For example, FX options, stocks, bonds, and futures all carry different point values, with higher volumes and higher-value trades earning more points.

Clients can also earn reward points based on account funding and securities transfers. For the first 30 days after opening an account, clients will receive points for deposits and transfers, with larger deposits translating to a higher point balance. For example, depositing USD 200,000 can earn a client over 120,000 points, which would qualify them for the Platinum tier.

Transparency and Flexibility

Saxo’s loyalty program provides full transparency with real-time points tracking, allowing clients to easily monitor their points balance and progress toward higher tiers. The program also offers flexibility, with clients able to upgrade or downgrade their account tiers based on their point accumulation.

For clients who do not meet the points criteria for their current tier, Saxo offers a 12-month grace period to allow clients time to accumulate points and maintain their benefits.

How to Get Started

Enrolling in the Saxo Rewards program is simple and automatic upon opening an account with Saxo. Clients’ initial deposit determines the tier they qualify for, and they can begin earning points immediately. The program offers a rolling 12-month membership for each tier, with clients continuing to receive benefits as long as they meet the ongoing points criteria.
