How the Welcome Cashback Scheme Works
To get started, new traders simply need to:

- Start Trading: Begin trading CFDs on forex, indices, shares, or commodities within the Welcome Period.
Cashback is available on eligible products like forex (excluding Forex Direct (DMA) trades), indices, shares, and commodities. The maximum cashback offered is up to USD $150, calculated based on the spread or commission paid during the Welcome Period. This cashback will be credited to the trader’s account within 45 days after the end of the Welcome Period.
For example, if a new account is activated in November, the Welcome Period will cover November and December, and the cashback will be paid out by January 15.
Eligibility and Terms
To qualify for the cashback rebate, new clients must meet the following conditions:
- Open and trade on a CFD account with IG after October 10, 2023.
- Be a new client with no previous IG account.
- Engage in eligible trading transactions (excluding options).
- The rebate is applicable to trading activities conducted within the first two full or partial calendar months of account activation.
The cashback is capped at $150 for the Welcome Period, and it is credited to the account in US dollars. The amount will be converted to the trader’s account currency based on IG’s end-of-day exchange rate.
