STAR Trading League 2026 – Complete Contest & Rewards Overview
The STAR Trading League 2026 is an NBA-inspired trading competition where participants compete in teams, rank based on trading performance, and progress through multiple elimination stages. It is organized by STARTRADER in partnership with the National Basketball Association.
Registration runs from 11 May to 28 May 2026, and the tournament begins on 1 June 2026.
How to Participate:
- Register or log in to a STARTRADER account
- Opt in via Client Portal or app
- Select 1 of 30 available teams (selection is final)
- Deposit a minimum of USD 500
- Start trading once the tournament begins
Additional requirement:
- Minimum trading notional volume of USD 1,000,000 per stage
- Only eligible performance after registration and deposit is counted
Tournament Structure:
The competition follows five stages:
- Regular Season (30 teams)
- Playoffs (16 teams)
- Quarter Finals (8 teams)
- Semi-Finals (4 teams)
- MVP Finals (2 teams, 1 champion team)
Key rule:
- Rankings are based on profit rate, which determines both individual ranking and team advancement

Stage-Based Qualifier Rewards:
- Regular Season (160 participants): STARTRADER x NBA notebook
- Playoffs (80 participants): STARTRADER x NBA blind box
- Quarter Finals (40 participants): STARTRADER x NBA water bottle
- Semi-Finals (20 participants): NBA premium pen
Key Prize Conditions:
- All prizes are non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash
- Winners are contacted via email after the tournament ends
- Prize redemption period: 10 August – 10 September 2026
- NBA ticket redemption: September 2026
- Prizes must be claimed within 30 days or will be forfeited
- STARTRADER may substitute prizes with similar-value items if needed
Important Rules & Requirements:
- Open only to eligible UAE participants
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Minimum deposit: USD 500
- Minimum trading volume: USD 1,000,000 per stage
- Eligible instruments: Forex, Gold, Oil, Silver
- Positions must be held at least 10 minutes to count
- Team selection is final and cannot be changed
- Suspicious or abusive trading may lead to disqualification
