The HeroFX Demo Trading Contest is back with another fast-paced, skill-testing round—free to join and completely risk-free. Each session gives traders a fresh $10,000 demo balance and the chance to turn smart strategy into real funded accounts.
How to Join:
Getting started is simple:
- Sign up for the contest.
- Open the “Demo Contest” account.
- Your account is automatically funded with $10,000 in demo capital.
- Start trading during the active weekly contest window.
Good to know:
- You’ll use the same demo contest account every round.
- Your balance resets to $10,000 automatically before each new session.
Contest Schedule:
- Duration: 1 week each round
Sunday 5PM – Friday 5PM (ET) - New rounds: Every two weeks
- Next Round: Nov 16, 5PM EST – Nov 21, 5PM EST
Prizes: Win Hero10X Accounts
Top performers secure funded trading accounts:
- 1st Place: $5,000
- 2nd Place: $2,500
- 3rd Place: $1,000
- 4th–10th: $500 each
How Winners Are Determined:
Winners are ranked purely by percentage gain on their demo account. At the end of the contest week, the top 10 traders with the highest percentage gains claim the prizes.
Gain Formula: ((Equity – 10,000) / 10,000) × 100 = % Gain
Examples:
- Equity = $11,000 → 10% Gain
- Equity = $50,000 → 400% Gain
- Equity = $9,000 → 0% Gain
Only positive performance is counted.
Trading Rules & Conditions:
- Platforms:
- U.S. traders → TradeLocker
- Non-U.S. traders → MetaTrader 5
- Conditions: Standard spreads, zero commission—equal footing for all participants.
- Allowed Strategies: Manual, market-conforming trading only.
- Not Allowed: EAs/bots, APIs, scripts, trade copiers, arbitrage, quote abuse, or coordinated/group trading. Any violation leads to disqualification.
