From August 3 to August 31, 2026, traders have the chance to celebrate African trading talent in the Rising Africa Trader Cup, an exciting demo trading competition hosted by EBC Financial Group. With a total cash prize pool awarded to the top-performing participants, the event offers a risk-free environment for traders to showcase their skills and compete based on trading performance.

How to Participate:

Joining the competition is simple:

1. Qualify by creating a new demo trading account with an initial equity of USD 10,000 after the competition begins.
2. Register for the event through the EBC User Portal.
3. Compete by trading throughout the campaign period and improving your return rate to climb the leaderboard.

Rankings are based on trading performance and are updated hourly, with the top accounts displayed on the leaderboard.

How the Competition Works:

Participants are ranked according to their return rate, calculated using the following formula:

Return Rate = Profit ÷ (Equity at Registration + Deposits During the Event) × 100%

The higher your return rate, the better your position on the leaderboard—and the greater your chance of winning.

Prize Pool

Top-performing traders will receive the following cash prizes:

• 1st Place: $300
• 2nd Place: $200
• 3rd Place: $100
• 4th–5th Places: $50 each
• 6th–10th Places: $30 each
• 11th–20th Places: $15 each

Important Rules and Terms:

• Competition Period: August 3, 2026 (00:00 MT) to August 31, 2026 (23:59 MT).
• Only new demo accounts with USD 10,000 equity and no open positions are eligible for registration.
• Winners must finish with a positive return rate. Participants with negative returns will not qualify for prizes.
• Cash prizes will be credited to the winner’s most recently opened active live account within 30 business daysafter the competition ends.
• Participants must provide accurate information and comply with the competition rules. Any false information or improper conduct will result in disqualification.
• The competition is open only to real, verified clients, and EBC Financial Group reserves the right to interpret or amend the competition terms without prior notice.
