Egoli Demo Challenge: Put Your Trading Skills to the Test

Ready to test your trading strategy, discipline, and consistency? The Egoli Demo Challenge, running from 19–30 October 2026, gives traders ten trading days to compete on a cTrader demo account with R10,000 in virtual equity. Registration is free, no deposit is required, and participants can compete for R22,500 in cash prizes plus R17,500 in live-account credit.

How to Participate:

Getting started is simple. Create your Egoli profile, complete the required FICA verification, and confirm your challenge entry and demo-account setup with the Egoli team. Once registered, you can trade on cTrader using your desktop, web browser, or mobile device.

How to Compete:

The challenge features four prize categories, each rewarding a different trading achievement:

• Grand Champion: Achieve the highest total net equity gain across all traded instruments. First and second place receive the main prizes.
• The Sniper: Record the largest winning trade measured in pips, held for less than five minutes. No minimum holding time applies.
• The XAU King: Generate the highest total net profit exclusively from XAU/USD (gold).
• The Nasdaq Killer: Generate the highest total net profit exclusively from NAS100 or US30.

Choose your trading approach, follow the competition rules, and aim for consistent performance throughout the ten trading days.

Prize Listings

A total of R40,000 in combined prizes is available across five prize positions:

• Grand Champion – 1st Place: R10,000 cash + R5,000 live-account credit.
• Grand Champion – 2nd Place: R5,000 cash + R5,000 live-account credit.
• The Sniper: R2,500 cash + R2,500 live-account credit.
• The XAU King: R2,500 cash + R2,500 live-account credit.
• The Nasdaq Killer: R2,500 cash + R2,500 live-account credit.

Cash prizes and live-account credits are separate components of each award. Only one prize may be awarded per winner, and the competition’s prize-allocation rules apply.

Important Rules and Terms:

Before entering, make sure you understand the key requirements:

• Free entry: No deposit is needed to participate.
• FICA verification: Verification is mandatory.
• Minimum trading activity: Complete at least 10 closed trades during the ten trading days to qualify for a prize.
• Drawdown limit: Exceeding 20% daily or total equity drawdown results in disqualification.
• One prize per winner: If a participant qualifies for multiple prizes, only one is awarded.
• Prize priority: A Grand Champion prize takes priority over a category prize. The category prize then passes to the next eligible participant.
