Singapore — CMC Markets Singapore has introduced its Refer a Friend Bonus promotion, giving eligible existing clients and newly referred traders the opportunity to earn cash rewards when specific account opening, funding, and trading requirements are met.
The promotion is available from 1 July 2024 and will remain open until further notice. Eligible participants who satisfy the promotion criteria can qualify for one of four reward tiers based on the referred trader’s qualifying trading activity.
Promotion Highlights
- Existing eligible CMC Markets clients can refer friends using a unique referral link provided by email.
- Referred participants must open a new CFD trading account through the referral link.
- The new client must:
- Make a minimum initial deposit of S$1,000 (or the account currency equivalent) within 30 days of opening the account.
- Complete at least five qualifying CFD trades within 30 days of account opening.
- Keep the deposited funds in the account for at least 30 days without making a withdrawal.
- Higher reward tiers become available when the referred client reaches the required trading turnover thresholds within the same 30-day period.
Bonus Tiers
- Tier 1: Referrer receives S$150, while the invited trader receives S$250 after meeting the standard qualifying requirements.
- Tier 2: Referrer receives S$150, while the invited trader receives S$400 after achieving a trading turnover of S$5,000,000.
- Tier 3: Referrer receives S$350, while the invited trader receives S$1,400 after achieving a trading turnover of S$25,000,000.
- Tier 4: Referrer receives S$550, while the invited trader receives S$4,150 after achieving a trading turnover of S$75,000,000.
Only the highest qualifying reward tier applies for each successful referral. The bonuses are not cumulative.
Additional Promotion Conditions
Eligible referrers must be Singapore residents aged 18 or above with an active CMC Markets trading account and receive an invitation to participate by email. Invitees must also be Singapore residents aged 18 or above, open a new eligible account using the referral link, and must not have held an active or dormant CMC Markets account since 1 June 2008.
Each referrer can receive bonuses for up to two successful referrals under the promotion, with total referrer rewards capped at S$1,100. Eligible bonuses are credited on or before the 14th day of the month following the successful completion of the qualifying requirements. Referral links are intended for personal, non-commercial use and must not be shared publicly.
