How to Participate:
To join the Merdeka Traders Cup 2026:
- Open a Merdeka Traders Cup MT5 Standard Trading Account.
- Complete account verification.
- Deposit a minimum of $100 USD through a new deposit or internal transfer during the contest period.
- Start competing once the contest begins on 27 July 2026.
Registration is available from 20 July 2026 to 28 August 2026. Registered accounts will remain in “Read Only” mode until the competition officially starts.
How to Compete:
Participants will compete by trading eligible instruments and aiming for the highest Percentage of Profit and Loss (PnL) ratio.
Competition period:
- Start: 27 July 2026, 00:05 GMT+3
- End: 28 August 2026, 23:59 GMT+3
Traders can open multiple competition accounts, provided they meet all contest requirements. The goal is simple: develop effective trading strategies, maximize performance, and secure a top position on the leaderboard.
Prize Pool
The top-performing traders will share a total prize pool of $20,000 USD:
- 1st Place: $7,000 USD
- 2nd Place: $5,000 USD
- 3rd Place: $3,000 USD
- 4th Place: $1,500 USD
- 5th Place: $1,000 USD
- 6th–10th Place: $500 USD each
Important Notes & Terms:
- Open to verified traders aged 18 and above from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and Singapore.
- Phyntex Markets employees, their family members, and parties associated with the contest are not eligible to participate.
- Each participant can win only one prize, with the highest-value prize they qualify for being awarded.
- All eligible trading instruments are included in performance calculations.
- Rankings are based on the Percentage of Profit and Loss (PnL) ratio.
- Arbitrage trading, price abuse, quote manipulation, or fraudulent activities may result in disqualification.
- Phyntex Markets reserves the right to reject participants, cancel invalid prizes, or modify, suspend, or terminate the contest when necessary.
- Participants are responsible for any taxes related to their winnings.
